When you are in a glass case of emotions
and everything is bottled up,
why wait for someone to unscrew the cap?
Let it all out and speak up.

Never take someone’s feelings for granted
you just don’t know how much courage
it took them to show it.

Never run away from your feelings
because someday
you still have to face it.

Time is not an enemy
but it is neither a friend
if you keep hiding.

Roll the bottle
shake it up
break it if you have to.

The shattered pieces may hurt you.
The broken splinters may scar you
but then who am i to teach you?

I’m just as coward as you.

You let your guard down crashing that wall
hoping that humpty dumpty will finally fall

the wall that should break down
when everyone in town

is wagging their tongue
like the beating of the drums

while the time is ticking
for you there is no changing

why bother what they’re thinking
their judgment is not your honor

And in truth when you wonder
if their clap is the thunder

soon it won’t matter
if you stop feeding their hunger

by ignoring their clamor
no need to be a wall crasher

doesn’t matter if you’re a cougar
age is just a number.

A few lines on
a not so forgotten song

A dripping sound
made me open the windows of my home

Although it’s familiar
how could i not know

Every now and then
its rhythm keeps knocking on my door

I’m  drench but i’m not wet
got a roof above my head

I see flowers now celebrating
dancing for all the waiting

To quench their thirst
after hibernating

When sunshine sleeps
and started dreaming

But songs of yesteryear
always linger

When raindrops fall
like a hurried summer

And through it all
i still remember

The broken pen
and the unwritten letter

Unspoken words
and tears of yonder

Embrace by an old friend
Here comes the rain again.

If running away
is my excuse for moving on

is ignorance my escape?

And if ignorance is a bliss

am i cursed
if i found the truth?

Because i still quiver
when you call me

believing i’m not worthy

So i keep running
and keep hiding

Until i found out
no one is really chasing.

Ready, get set go!

On the way to drink the ice
To run from the shouting crowd
And hide from their glaring eyes.

One, two, three, flee!

To swallow your frozen pride
Sing their song aloud
And eat their bitter pies.

Four, five, six, pick!

The tribe you’d rather stick
The ass you have to lick
Or else they’ll call you a freak.

Seven, eight, nine, ten!

Swollen and beaten
Never try to get even
You’ll be unforgiven.
