Waiting – https://joysofjoel.wordpress.com/

Short as life is,
our expectations make it shorter
by the careless whisper of time.

And even if time can heal a broken heart,
it can also break a waiting heart.

The sun always shines
and hope always floats

Though the river never pass
and touch the same stone

We wait and believe
that the rainbow of life
offers a pot of gold.

    1. Thanks KG. Well, life offers a rainbow, sometimes with a pot of gold, sometimes with a pot full of flowers. Either way life always offers us gifts, some gifts we dream of, some we never wanted, some we did not expect but in the end it’s a gift we all need for a reason.

Thanks Kathy for stopping by and dropping a line. Happy Valentines!

    1. I agree. It whispers when time’s a plenty, so we ignore it then it screams loudly reminding us we’re running out of it. 🙂

Thanks Alan for stopping by and being generous with your kind words.

  1. I think that if you live ‘hopefully’ you will never be disappointed. Your expectations are not always met, but what you learn leads you to grow and takes you into different directions – hopefully your ‘pot of gold’ will be the reality you did not expect but hoped for. Reading this back makes me wonder, does this make sense?? 🙂

    1. Thanks Marie for that profound thought. No one could’ve said it better. I love the thought “the pot of gold will be the reality you did not expect but hoped for.”

Thank you for the time. Have a lovely day ahead.
