The Promise

The Promise, how can i get my money back, joys of joel poems, humor, rhyming poem credit loan word of honor
The Promise – https://joysofjoel.wordpress.com/

Still here waiting
and really hoping

The promise i wish
you’ll be fulfilling

Should i wake up
or keep on dreaming

or is it just
a wishful thinking?

Your sweet talk
i still remember

that dreary night
last september

Tried to call you
but you’ve been avoiding

my calls and text
as if i’m not existing

And when i call you
please stop thinking

That i’m doing it
because i miss you

It’s almost christmas
i’ll buy my honey

the gifts he wants
so he won’t leave me

it’s now or never
so please remember

i need the money
the cash you owe me

if not i’ll send you
a lovely letter

and i will be
your forever stalker.

        1. Well, lets say A BeautFOOL Fool who learns from it and end up gaining FOOL of wisdom… after all life is too short not to be foolish once in a FOOL moon.

Thanks Nita i hope i’m not making a fool of myself with this comment, but then who cares. 🙂

Thank you really for always stopping by and sharing your wonderFOOL thoughts.

  1. I so love this Joel, but frankly my heart fell just a little because you got me FOOLY with the last stanzas… I was already romantically drooling and putting myself in the picture if you get me… then it was actually money? argh… and now forever stalking… oh my… but then if I turn the stalking towards my blog, then I don’t mind lol 🙂

    1. 🙂 Thanks Marie for sharing your thought. I’m glad you experience the rollercoaster ride of the word promise. Too bad it ends with money and stalking.

Well, that’s how life is, sometimes it’s so sweet but most of the time the ending is unpredictable or shall i say it’s an endless journey of expectations especially if involves a promise. 🙂

Thanks for allowing me to be stalking , oops, following your blog. Promise, i will always be a beautiful, respectful stalker. 🙂

  2. Oh gosh I loved the ending. I was thinking how sometimes we find ourselves being stalkerish because it’s hard to let go sometimes. Sometimes I peek to see what’s up with the old object of my affection but last time I did I decided that was the last. Don’t think I don’t think about it though. LOL This is great Joel! Wonderful art and poems so sorry I don’t visit a lot. You blog is def one I will bookmark you are very inspiring. Are you a graphic designer or illustrator? I’m curious. 🙂
