I was invited to your castle
with my dreams and battles

I walked through the rooms
the chandelier and its moon

Flashing bulbs
and scorching lights

I see the garden
in your hidden basement

Paper roses
seeds of illusion

Artificial flowers
in your unlocked drawers

Scented worms
a crown of thorns

Fleeting music
not for long

I won’t be singing
your song

I walk away
and end your play

Don’t ask me why
you won’t be free

Don’t wait for me
Ours is not a love story.
