Then it embraces you
the flowers in the gardens
speaking in tongues.

Now it stings you
the bees in the mountains
flying in swarm.

Tomorrow it awaits you
the honey in your cup
swimming in your lungs.

        1. all right, something that embraced me in my past, speaking in tongues, bite me in the present and awaits me in the future? Creating a Blog… WordPress spoken and written in several languages and looking forward and awaiting for that 10,000 followers and freshly pressed? hehehe, would that be ok jonathan?

            1. ok, perhaps its Dreams, fulfilling one’s dream, or love or anything that calls you, stings you but rewards you in the end….so? Hmmm, still a wordpress? lol

  7. I know you agreed with one reader that it was “love”. But could it also be “life” and the way in which it impacts you too? Embracing then stinging, but still there the next day with the hope of something new and refreshing – in the lungs: breath? life force? Probably over-thinking this one, but you did imply that it was open to interpretation!

    1. Wow, that’s a wonderful thought Marie. You’re right, it can be life too. After all Life without love is not life at all.

      Besides, just like paintings and emotions, words can be interpreted in so many beautiful ways.
